King Charles rules Takicardie with an iron fist. He's infatuated with a beautiful shepherdess and wants to force her to marry him, but she loves a chimneysweep. They befriend a mockingbird who lives in the palace and decide to run away together. The King's police pick up the fugitives' trail and are led on a wild chase through the futuristic palace.
