Graduate of Dauphine University and La Femis Cinema school, Francois Mergier began his career in 2005 as Sales Manager within the TV Sales department of STUDIOCANAL before joining the International Sales team in 2009 as VP International Sales. In 2012, he joined the Production Department as Production Manager. In 2015, he joined the cinema acquisition team of Canal+ as Acquisitions Manager. In 2018, he joined back STUDIOCANAL, where he’s promoted Head of French Acquisitions and Production and Head of French Productions in 2020.
