Sylvie Arnould holds a Ph.D. in Corporate Law from the University of Paris 2. After 3 years as a lawyer with the animation company Créativité & Développement followed by 5 years as an advisor at the French USPA (Union Syndicale de la Production Audiovisuelle = Union for audio-visual production), she joined CANAL+ GROUP in 1994.
Responsible for the business affairs of STUDIOCANAL Image, she took over the legal and business affairs of STUDICANAL in 2003; it groups together all the distribution and co-production business of new films and the catalogue.
