Kalle Friz began his career in marketing and press at the International French Film Festival of Tübingen (1994-1999) and later at Advanced Filmverleih GmbH. Then, he was Head of Fox Searchlight and Local Acquisitions for Twentieth Century Fox Germany (2002-2009).
He joined STUDIOCANAL Germany in 2009, as EVP, Theatrical Distribution.
In 2014, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer and then CEO of STUDIOCANAL Germany one year later.
In 2020, Kalle was appointed EVP International Operations and kept his responsibilities at STUDIOCANAL Germany. He is in charge of accompanying the German, British and Australian subsidiaries in their strategy and business development.
